We did not expect to fly today due to a water logged airfield, but the airfield was remarkably dry after the recent snow melt and rain.

It was a slow start due to the initial low cloud and then the arrival of a warm front. Nonetheless, we managed 13 winch launches, 1 aerotow and an SLMG training flight - 3 hours 53 minutes achieved.

Everyone got to fly and we welcomed Luke’s guest, Toby Cross.

Thanks to the duty crew for all their efforts and a special thanks to Greg who drove the winch between running to and from the hangar.

Mick B and Greg also polished the Astir CS (R77).
