We had a good, fun day, achieving 42 flights and 16 hours 45 minutes. The average flight time was just under 30 minutes.

The longest flights were flown by Arthur Barfield and Mick Webb, with 2 hours 25 minutes each.

Congratulations to Ethan Low for his conversion to UCL’s ASW 19 (HXU).

We also flew a great team of 5 Berkhamsted cadets and Cranfield ATC.

The hangar was emptied and almost all aircraft were flying, including Humza’s Ventus 2cxT (TC) and Mick’s Ventus 2cxa (DID) (the exceptions being the ASW 15 and the ASW 20).

Thanks to the team for rigging the ASK 21 (R28) and de-rigging the Discus 2cT (R6).

I must not forget the great bit of winch driving at the end of the day by Josh - with the short run and nil wind, he got us 1,000 feet!
