We managed 36 launches and nearly 5 hours 30 minutes airborne. It was a busy training day, with lots of keen trainees supported by a small crew of winch drivers and launch marshals. A big thanks to Mark Durden, Ethan Low, Rob Saddler and Josh Rees for their help in running operations!
Ethan Low and Dan Kearney both converted to the Astir CS (R77) - well done, both. Rob had a go at a 5 hour silver duration and, unfortunately, fell 4 hours and 32 minutes short! Mark Durden managed the longest flight at around 35 minutes.
Mick Boydon has been competing in the Open Class Nationals at Lasham over the past week in his Nimbus 2c (69). See below a picture of his outlanding field from yesterday on a hill near Pewsey.
