chilterns gliding club
Celebrating 66 years of soaring
Chilterns Gliding Club, based at RAF Halton Airfield in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a regional soaring club of the RAF Gliding and Soaring Association. We provide trial flights and flying training primarily to service personnel and their dependants, and occasionally to select civilian members. We operate from a grass airfield on weekends, public holidays and occasional weekdays, weather permitting. We also host the University College London Gliding Club.
