Our successful club expedition to Aboyne drew to a close today, with the remaining club towing the fleet back the 512 mile journey to Halton. Pending confirmation, we should hopefully see 5 diamond height badge claims, 3 gold height badge claims, 1 silver height badge claim and many happy pilots! Overall, we were very lucky with the number of flying days we achieved given the poor weather forecast. Many thanks to Deeside Gliding Club for their hospitality and we look forward to returning next year!
