Sunday 30 June 2024

Watching the end of a cold front moving through in the morning, it wasn’t a promising as expected but we made the best of the day.

Greg and Humza flew a 2-ship around Oxford in weak conditions whilst, the home team enjoyed some reasonable local soaring.

Mark exercised his new BI rating flying our UCL contingent whilst David F looked after our guest trial flight.

Star of the day was Amy who converted to the Astir. Well done!

Great support from the duty team and thanks to our winch drivers, Laurence and Jon, who were rewarded with long, late evening trips.

In total, 33 launches, 14 hours 41 minutes of flying and hogs of the day were Humza (TC) & Greg (R6) with 2 hours 40 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes respectively.
