The airfield was still waterlogged on the Northern side today so, initially, we were limited to the "Chipmunk Strip", with the powered guys using it up until 14:00.

Fortunately, by then, the South side had dried out sufficiently and we were able to operate from Runway 25. Hence, a delayed start and very short of instructors, but we gathered a very enthusiastic team.

Many congratulations to Ben King, who successfully completed his Bronze Skills test.

Toby, Amy, Will and Lewis all enjoyed their flights in the ASK 13 (R41), whilst, Taff and Arthur took the ASK 18 (R49) to the air. Taff was hog of the day, soaring for 30 minutes and then 51 minutes.

Bryan could not have managed without the sterling support of Josh running the front and being ably assisted by Ben King as duty pilot and Arthur winching.

Graham and Ellie kept the MT working smoothly and John Paya came out to provide encouragement.

Overall, we flew 20 launches and amassed a massive 2 hours 47 minutes. Thanks to all for your efforts.
