Overall a really good day, and great to get our first flying day of the year.

Despite the poor looking weather, the team arrived early and - when the fog cleared - a brilliant afternoon of flying took place. We managed a very creditable 23 launches.

It started with check flights for solo pilots, whilst junior instructors started getting re-current.

Our new Officer in Command, Rob Saddler, re-soloed. Congratulations!

Sam and Luke had a flight in the motorglider. Thank you to the Duty Crew: Al, David and Josh, as well as Greg and Humza for their ground work!Special thanks to Taff again, who worked tirelessly on the ASK 18’s (R49) service.

Everyone who wanted to fly did, and we were treated to some spectacular views as the banks of fog rolled around the clear patch we were operating in.
