The Midweekers ditched their usual Wednesday/Thursday due to the poor weather and instead considered today, given the forecast was a 20 knot (gusting 30 knots) north-westerly.
The team set up on a dry patch of the airfield and flew under “the special soaring conditions exist” rules. We had 4 gliders with 4 flights each and 16 hours of total time.
This was the best ridge day I can remember since late October 2019.
