Yesterday’s day’s forecast was rain but it turned out to be a good flying day. Laurence flew his checkflight. Steve flew more than an hour up to 8000ft with me. After that Josh did a second check ride up to 7000’ in 20 minutes. Martin flew his glider for nearly two hours up to just under FL100. Ben had two short flights in the HXU. Phil had no luck during his first flight with R6 because the tug pilot forgot to remove the pitot cover, so no ASI, he had to release at 500 feet! His second flight was half an hour, tugged to the wrong place! Today’s difficulty was the amount of clouds building up at low level, but we all managed to come back

A photo from yesterday and 2 from this morning. Looks like it could be a good day with gliders climbing through 9000 in 4 kts and another registering 14.5kts at 4000ft in the lee of Morven.
